You can also (if want) to write comments in English language to Russian forum topics and blogs. In my - exactly. :)
I would just ask you to write them in simple language (not victorian english) for better understanding. I love victorian english but it hard for our understending yet :(

Nop. We are only three Russian steampunks here:) and i guess there will be no big probs with English between us:) I wonder why something like steampunks does not really exist in Russ. It should. May be our history had too much complete overturns and golden 19-th sentury is almost cleaned from public mind.

Hello, Captain, there!
I was embarrassed and surprised your advent here :)

Basically, there are Russian-language publications. And I do not wish to detract users from New Babbage's project. But in the end, I want to join here and the Russians, and English-speaking users. And you can help us in it, I think :)

At first, I want to fill these pages with the Russian texts about steampunk and russian history of XIX century (I have many interesting materials) that I have been able to find. I will write them in my blog.

I would be sincerely glad if my friends here will help communicate with foreigners in the Russian a mutually understandable language at this time.
Then I will make efforts to translate Russian articles into English with the help of my friends.
